Key facts for Kentucky

What to do next

  1. Check the DEP eSearch Methamphetamine Lab List and ask the local health department whether a Notice of Methamphetamine Contamination was posted.
  2. Use only a contractor on Kentucky’s certified contractor list if the property falls under the tiered cleanup system.
  3. Do not rely on a prior owner’s verbal statement; ask for the cabinet release or proof the property was decontaminated and released from further action.
