How we research
Meth House by State is published by Directory Assistance Group, an independent publisher of reference directories built from public records. This page explains where our information comes from, how pages are put together, and how we keep them current.
Sources
We use primary public sources first, including state statutes, administrative codes, health and environmental agencies, housing departments, law-enforcement registries, and official court or legislative materials when relevant. When a state does not keep everything in one place, we point to the clearest official source available.
The Meth property check matches your search to the relevant state guide, then surfaces the main official links for lists, disclosures, cleanup standards, and contractor information. It is designed to shorten the path to the source, not replace it.
What we will not publish
We show a rule, fee, deadline, listing or figure only when an official or primary source publishes it, and we link that source. When a value says it is not published, it means we could not find an official source, not that no rule exists. We do not estimate numbers, invent statistics or quotes, or claim reviewers or credentials we do not have. We are not lawyers, engineers, doctors or government officials, and nothing here is legal, medical or professional advice.
Which pages we publish for search
Each state page is built from that state's own official sources and is offered to search engines only once those state-specific details are verified. Advice that applies everywhere lives once on this page and in our guides instead of being repeated on every state page.
Ads and paid placements
The site is free and supported by advertising. Advertisers do not choose topics or see pages before they go live. Any paid listing or sponsor is labelled as such, and payment never changes the official details we show.
